What you will see and experience

The exhibition in the photographic studio of Josef and František Seidel will surprise you with its authenticity, a plentiful number of period photographs, photo postcards, glass plate negatives, cameras and darkroom equipment. The attractiveness of the unique collection is enhanced by the personal diaries of the Seidels and original furnishings of the flat.

The museum regularly offers the possibility of themed period photography in the studio, and also organises other accompanying programmes and experiences such as lectures, exhibits, children’s events, school events and more.

Don’t miss it

An interview with the museum's director Zdena Mrazkova who talks about the fate of the Seidel family and about their work.
