Jindra Čapek’s World of Fantasy – a unique exhibition of two hundred original children’s book illustrations by the internationally acclaimed artist Jindra Čapek reveals a curious fantasy world packed with fairy tales

Jiří Havlík: Draught of Krumlov Monasteries – black and white photographs by Krumlov artist Jiří Havlík map a period of more than twenty years, when the photographer lived and worked right in the Český Krumlov monasteries

Every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., families visiting the monasteries can take part in a family game, which includes admission to an interactive exhibition. At the end of the game, children receive a prize. Beginning in spring 2021, the game is a Monastery Treasure Hunt.

Craft workshops also have their place in the monastery complex. In the craft lane, you will find such people as blacksmiths, bag makers, glass makers and dyers. Accompanying programmes give you the opportunity to try individual crafts in the workshops.

A café provides visitors with a peaceful seating area indoors or in an outdoor atrium. Visitors can also treat themselves to small snacks and sample some of the products made in a local bakery.
